My Personal Approach

Abundance. Evocative. Theatrical. Stimulating. Understated. Powerful. Beautiful.

These are just a few of the adjectives that have come to characterize the events I help create.

On the surface, my background in steel sculpting may seem contradictory to my work in the delicate details of event and floral design. The sculpting involves hard, heavy materials that last for hundreds of years while floral arrangements and events are delicate, perishable and short lived.

It is this very paradox, however, that fuels my work. All these activities require sensitivity to scale and proportion. Art works, floral arrangements and events all must have value from every aspect of observation, from every point of view. Everything has to be purposeful in supporting the theme.

We only have our guests' attention for a short period of time, so using all my experience and artistic ability becomes crucial. I believe the design of an event should awaken all the senses and bring your guests to the center of your event.
